Safety A Priority At Namdeb
Safety is Namdeb’s priority value and to entrench this message further, a
safety Omugongo was held yesterday (Thursday, 8 February 2018) which
was attended by Line Managers and Supervisors. The focus of the
discussions was centred around safety leadership in the business. During
the session, both Namdeb CEO, Riaan Burger and acting COO, Jurgen Jacob,
shared their respective safety pledges with the forum thereby demonstrating a very clear personal commitment to putting safety first in the business.
The forum had various discussions and made suggestions on how to
increase the level of safety awareness in the business and on tangible
actions steps to ensure safe operations during times of change as the
business is experiencing for various reasons.
